Tumble Bees was designed and developed by wife and mum Jayne Bellwood, a British Gymnastics Level 2 Pre-School Coach. Realising that children learn so much better whilst having fun Jayne set about creating fun themes incorporating skills for life and classes were launched in February 2013.
There are currently 18 different themes based around the early years FUNdamentals of gymnastics. Themes include Healthy Eating, Outer Space, Seaside, Number and Colours and so many more.
Action packed with songs and skills matching the themes. Children learn to roll, balance, count, co-ordinate, socialise and so much more.
We cater for all children 5 years and under starting with Baby Bees for babies from 8 weeks to cruising and once walking confidently they can move onto our gymnastic sesssions.
We really care about the adults and children that attend our classes and work with everyone at their own pace, we really do treat everyone as individuals. Feedback has been great over the years but don’t just take our word for it, we have plenty of customer reviews.

Thank you again for all your wonderful sessions! Ari has enjoyed them so much for the last (just over) two years! He has made so much progress in that time both physically and with his confidence as well. He loved the structure of your sessions and I think it has set him up for his next step brilliantly. All my family have enjoyed every minute of watching him enjoy his time at tumbles bees. Thank you for accommodating so many of my family members at your sessions, it really means a lot to them all.
My little boy (age 2) loves coming to the sessions, he loves the element of free play and the songs throughout the session. Jayne is great with the kids and is super flexible when it comes to someone having an off day or just simply exploring the room. The sessions are easy to join in with, fun and the kids love the easy fun way of learning new skills.
s a Grandma i was looking for something to do with my Grandson on wednesdays when i look after him, and this fit the bill perfectly! I only wish id found you sooner! Raffy didnt walk until he was 2 and was fearful of everything he wouldnt go on anything in a park - too scared! Roll forward a few months and he will go on anything now, all his fears gone learning great co-ordination skills and a confidence booster! Thank you Jayne, time for Raffy to start school in september now, but highly recommend to anyone thinking of going, safe setting and classes every day to suit
Lovely pre-school gym, where toddlers can learn lots of skills such as climbing, jumping, swinging and many more. Each term has a new theme with songs and actions. Jayne is really encouraging and makes the sessions lots of fun. Highly recommend!
Jayne is fantastic. she's enthusiastic, has so much patience with the kids and is an all around lovely person/teacher. my daughter loved the classes and has gone on to continue her gymnastics career, having got a solid start at tumble bees. Jayne was always accommodating and would allow you to swap classes to make up sessions missed. can't recommend enough 😊
Evelyn has thoroughly enjoyed her Tumble Bees classes & all the different themes. As she starts school in Sept unfortunately her Tumble Bees time has come to an end. Thank you so much to Chrissie! We would definitely recommend the classes to other families 👍🏻
I’ve been going to Tumble Bees for the last four years with both of my boys.
We’ve all loved the classes and Jayne is fantastic with the children. She makes the classes exciting and engaging whilst teaching the children news skills and showing them how to keep themselves safe whilst moving around the equipment.
My boys have developed a real love of gymnastics from these classes and that’s thanks to Jayne.
My little girl loves Tumble Bees!
She was so excited by the apparatus and equipment on offer and grew in confidence within one session. It’s a perfect mix of free play, singing, dancing and gymnastics. Definitely one of the best classes we’ve been to 😊 so much so that my little one insists we play Tumble Bees most days at home!
Absolutely couldn't imagine life without tumblebees, I will recommend it til I'm blue in the face. Keena has always had mummy issues, in that if you didn't know better you'd swear the midwife never cut the umbilical cord.. I try turn the light off in hopes my shadow disappears haha. But since we have been going to tumblebees, we have a different kind of bond, she's beginning to get braver, more independent and imaginative, Jayne has helped her so much! She even leaves my knee to sit with Jayne! Lol. She practices all the time and tells everyone she sees about it, honestly, if you've got a walking child under 5 and a spare hour take them, you won't look back. I promise that
I would like to say a big Thank you to you Jayne for the 3 sessions me & Samuel have attended at Churwell so far. They have being great and Samuel seems to enjoy it and has being showing his certificate off to His dad and big sister. Even mummy has enjoyed the sessions 😉 . We are looking forward to after Easter to attend Tumble bees again. Also just noticed you do parties? May need to enquire more about that, we have Samuel's birthday coming up after Easter and he is wanting a party xx
My 4 year old loved Jaynes Classes, I thought he may have been too old for it at first but he absolutely loved them . He also made a really good connection with Jayne. I'm just sad we didn't get to do more as he is now starting school!
Tumblebees gives me the chance to spend some quality time with my grandson Harry. We joined last year and Harry was very shy at first, he enjoys the singing and he loves the parachute. His confidence has grown and he will join in some of the activities now, which is lovely to see. Jayne has lots of energy and patience and the children love her songs and activities. The sessions are a great way of getting children to exercise while having lots of fun.
Evie has really enjoyed her time at tumble bees, brilliant class and a fantastic teacher 🙂
Thank you Jayne! Rifqa has loved coming to your classes, they are fab! I've enjoyed watching her grow in confidence each week and seeing how she's beginning to use the skills she has learnt while we're out and about such as using the climbing frame in the park. We hope to join your classes again in the near future.

My little boy has been coming to Tumblebees for 2 years now. He loves it. The class is structured, but also relaxed. It's lots of fun and Jayne is fab!
Harrison loved his first session at tumble bees today....as newbies we were both made to feel very comfortable...the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, as were the other mums and staff! Plus he hasn't stopped showing everyone his bee stamp! We can't wait for next week 😀
Isaac started Tumble Bees through his crèche at first direct, he did a couple of terms with them then when I went on maternity leave I switched to another class so we could go together. We've been doing it together for 16 months. He loves it! His little sister Lyla observed as a baby & started joining in as soon as she could walk. They both love Tumble Bees & Jayne. For me it is great that there is a group that they can take part in together as at most others they would be separated by age. I'll be sad when Isaac starts schools & has to stop going!
Toby has started doing the actions to the songs at home, very impressive that he's picking it all up at 15months old and considering he's soo shy haha, Brilliant xx

We had our first session at tumble bees today & robbie really enjoyed it! He joined in and had ago at everything even song time which he isn't too confident with. Jane was really lovely. Looking forward to next week's session.
